Terms of Service

Welcome to Strolleo. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Strolleo website, mobile experience, and related services (collectively, the "Service") operated by Strolleo ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. The Service

Strolleo is a marketplace that connects local guides ("Guides") who create self-guided walking tours ("Routes") with individuals ("Customers") who purchase and experience those Routes at their own pace. We provide the platform; Guides provide the content.

2. Accounts

To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You may sign in using a supported third-party authentication provider (e.g., Google). You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.

When registering, you select a role — Guide or Customer. Guides gain access to route creation tools; Customers can browse, purchase, and walk Routes.

3. Purchases and Payments

Customers may purchase access to Routes at prices set by Guides. All payments are processed through our third-party payment provider, Stripe. By making a purchase, you agree to Stripe's terms of service.

Prices are displayed in the currency indicated on the Route listing. All sales are final unless otherwise required by applicable law. If a Route is materially different from its description or becomes unavailable after purchase, you may request a refund by contacting us.

4. Guide Content and Responsibilities

Guides are solely responsible for the accuracy, quality, and legality of the Routes they create, including descriptions, waypoint information, photos, and suggested paths. By publishing a Route, you represent that:

• You have the right to publish all content included in the Route.
• The Route does not infringe on any third party's intellectual property or privacy rights.
• The suggested paths are on publicly accessible land and do not require trespassing.
• The Route descriptions are accurate and not misleading.

We reserve the right to remove any Route that violates these Terms or that we determine, in our sole discretion, to be inappropriate or harmful.

5. Intellectual Property

Guides retain ownership of the content they create. By publishing a Route on Strolleo, Guides grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide license to display, distribute, and promote the Route content on and through the Service. This license ends when the Guide removes the Route from the platform.

The Strolleo name, logo, and platform design are our property and may not be used without our prior written consent.

6. Safety and Assumption of Risk

Walking tours involve physical activity in real-world environments. By using the Service to walk a Route, you acknowledge and agree that:

• You walk at your own risk and are responsible for your personal safety.
• You should assess weather, terrain, and local conditions before starting a Route.
• You must obey all local laws, traffic signals, and pedestrian regulations.
• Strolleo does not guarantee the safety, accessibility, or current condition of any Route.
• GPS directions are approximate and should not replace your own judgment.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
• Copy, redistribute, or resell Route content without the Guide's permission.
• Attempt to access another user's account or private data.
• Interfere with the operation of the Service or circumvent its security features.
• Post false, misleading, or defamatory content.
• Use automated tools to scrape or extract data from the Service.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. We do not endorse, verify, or guarantee the accuracy of any Route content created by Guides.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Strolleo and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service, any Route content, or any physical activity undertaken in connection with a Route.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to access purchased Routes may be revoked.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by updating the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, providing additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the courts of the jurisdiction in which Strolleo is established.
