Privacy Policy

Last updated: March 29, 2026

Strolleo ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information when you use the Strolleo website, mobile experience, and related services (the "Service").

1. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account using a third-party sign-in provider (e.g., Google), we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from that provider. We also store your selected role (Guide or Customer) and account preferences.

Location Data

When you use the walk navigation feature, we access your device's GPS location with your permission to display your position on the map and track progress along a Route. Location data is processed on your device and is not stored on our servers or shared with third parties. You can revoke location access at any time through your device settings.

Payment Information

When you make a purchase, payment details (such as credit card number) are collected and processed directly by our payment provider, Stripe. We do not store your full payment credentials. We receive only a transaction confirmation, purchase amount, and a partial card identifier for your records.

Route Content

If you are a Guide, we store the Routes you create, including titles, descriptions, waypoint information, photos, and geographic coordinates. This content is made available to Customers who purchase your Routes.

Usage Data

We automatically collect certain information when you use the Service, including your IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring URLs, pages viewed, and timestamps. This data helps us understand how the Service is used and improve its performance.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Service.
  • Process purchases and deliver purchased Routes to Customers.
  • Display your position on the map during walk navigation.
  • Communicate with you about your account, purchases, or the Service.
  • Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, or technical issues.
  • Comply with legal obligations.

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your data with:

  • Payment processors — Stripe processes payments on our behalf. See Stripe's Privacy Policy.
  • Authentication providers — Google (or other supported providers) for account sign-in. See their respective privacy policies.
  • Hosting and infrastructure providers — to store and serve content, including photos and media files.
  • Map tile providers — to render maps within the Service. Your IP address and approximate location may be visible to the tile server when loading map data.
  • Law enforcement or legal processes — when required by applicable law, regulation, or legal proceeding.

4. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to maintain your session, remember your preferences, and understand how you interact with the Service. Essential cookies are required for the Service to function. You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings, though disabling essential cookies may affect functionality.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or necessary to resolve disputes. Anonymized, aggregated data may be retained for analytics purposes.

Purchase records are retained for the period required by applicable tax and financial regulations.

6. Data Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Request deletion of your personal data.
  • Object to or restrict certain processing of your data.

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at hello@strolleo.com. We will respond within 30 days.

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child under 16, we will take steps to delete it promptly.

9. International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own. We ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your data in accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable law.
